It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our principal accompanist Christine Williams after a short illness.
Chris has been with the choir almost since the choir’s inception in 2001 and has accompanied the choir at home and abroad. Chris began playing the piano at the age of eight. She studied music at Liverpool University and followed that with a year at Gipsy Hill College of Education.
Chris was always a pleasure to work with and a highly talented musician, she will be very much missed by The Wessex and ‘Her Boys’ as she affectionately knew us, as well as the many musical groups she worked with.
Our thoughts and prayers are with her husband Terry and her family.
